Tours
Prince Edward County
is Ontario`s newest wine
region. The growing season
is as long as the Niagara
Region, but the winters
are colder. Vineyards
are next to Lake Ontario,
which has a moderating
effect on the air temperatures.In
2000 we had one winery.
Today we have close to
a dozen. Several more
are in the building and
planning stages.
